My name is Elizabeth Welker-Ebling and I am an adult amateur based out of The Plains, VA. I began my riding career with Susie Beale of Cairn O’ Mount Stables in Malvern, PA and competed up through CCI 3*S with my incredible mare Santana II. In 2024 I had the privilege of importing and taking over the ride on another wonderful mare, You’ve Got The Lux. We relocated to The Plains in 2025 to train with Skyeler Voss and to enable me to pursue a master’s in Neuroscience at Georgetown University.

Santana II (Annie)

Santana II (Camax L x Hofdame H) is a 2010 Oldenburg mare who has competed up to CCI3*L with Rebecca Braitling and CCI3*S with Elizabeth Welker-Ebling. “Annie” and Elizabeth placed 7th in the CCI3*S at Virginia Horse Trials in 2022 and placed 6th in the 1.10/1.15m classic at the Devon Horse Show in 2025. They finished the 2025 season 12th on the national leaderboard and 2nd in zone 2 for Channel 1 1.10/1.15 Amateur Jumpers.

You’ve Got The Lux (Poppy)

You’ve Got The Lux (Lux Z x Valeska) is a 2011 Irish Sport Horse mare who has competed up to the CCI 4*S level with Hayden Hankey (GBR). “Poppy” was purchased by Elizabeth Welker-Ebling in late 2024 and completed the CCI 2*S at Carolina International in March 2025. Her winning attitude and incredible talent has made her a favorite around the stables.

News and Events

As the 2025 season comes to a close, both horses will be moving south to escape from the harsh and cold winter conditions of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Annie has been moved to Morningside Training Farm to allow Elizabeth to continue to ride regularly during the final semester of her master’s degree. Poppy is moving to Aiken, South Carolina in preparation for the 2026 season.
